i literally travelled half way around the world simply so i could do this

(btw, this is on the raft after the elephant ride on my first weekend in thailand, sorry for the sideway-ness).

the street that runs parallel to the university, whose name i have currently forgotten (i am so bad at this name remembering thing). it’s just a tad different from uganda….

there is more but i have to figure it out with this new computer at my homestay and it takes a while to download all the photos. hopefully this will keep you amused until i get some more time.

hope you are all doing well.

  1. awessommmmee. yea. go see cloverfield. it’s not “scary” it’s just intense

  2. Sarah,
These pictures are great. What a range of things to see. Keep the photos coming. Let us know more details–when you get the chance–on your home stay (numbers, names, etc.) and internship. Hope all is going well with the classes, internship, and sight seeing.
    Love,

  3. Hi Sarah, Thanks so much for the pictures. Can see that you are going to have fun with your camera. Now we can picture you in your Thailand setting. The street scene was different than I had imagined; it is “city” and I had pictured markets, lots of people, colors – maybe that is somewhere nearby. We will look forward to more text AND picures and, again, we appreciate your taking the time to keep in touch.

  4. Hi Sarah…it looks like you’re having a good time. Judy and I are enjoying your blog entries and we are hoping to see more pictures. I am so impressed that you can travel so far from home and live in a different country with a whole new group of friends and family…you are fearless! If you ever get a little homesick, just dial up a Beatles song and you’ll feel better. I recommend “All My Loving”…or maybe “I Am The Walrus”…heh heh.

    Love from John and Judy.
